On Sept. the 4th of 2008 I didn't believe there was anything anybody could do to rebuild my house. It looked like a disaster. The day of the fire I met with Mark from BK Restoration & Remodeling and knew I wanted them to repair my home. While we were talking, a group of guys showed up for an emergency board up and had my house sealed-up to prevent theft or any additional damage.
Being a custom homebuilder and remodeler myself I spent a considerable amount of time at my house observing the workmanship and choice of materials. The craftsmen Mark selected were outstanding, and his ability to find the original building products was amazing. It is very important to have a knowledgeable staff that has seen this business in and out to determine the best, not the most cost effective, but the best way to do things.
In this event I believe it is absolutely necessary to be able to communicate well, with whoever is working with you to get your life back to normal. Throughout construction I was very well informed by Mark and his colleagues about what was going on and how to keep the project moving at a fast pace without sacrificing quality. I cannot thank them enough. My house is all new again!
